HVAC Technician
Lew’s Plumbing Heating and Cooling is looking for motivated Residential HVAC Technicians who are experienced in residential and/or commercial HVAC services. Duties:
- Organize appointments
- Inspect, organize and prepare equipment for service calls
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Communicate with customers in homes and business
- Complete work orders thoroughly
- Communicate with office staff and coworkers effectively
Requirements:
- Either EPA certified or can pass an EPA 608 Certification Type 1 and 2 exams.
- Troubleshoot and determine residential HVAC service needs and the ability to sell or recommend repairs.
- The ability to communicate well with Homeowners and Businesses
- Understands how HVAC systems operate
- Familiar with troubleshooting a variety of different residential HVAC Systems and familiar with manufacturer’s specifications and codes.
- Abides by and strict adherence to safety regulations
- Attend applicable training provided by Lew’s Plumbing Heating and Cooling and/or Manufacturer’s training and certification programs.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires the ability to physically lift equipment and tools that can weigh over 75 lbs.
- Climb and work on ladders
- Ability to work in “tight” or small spaces.
The ability to learn to use a tablet to receive work orders, instructions, order parts, and take payments is required.
A Driver’s License, drug screen, and background check are requirements for employment.
